Flinders Ultimate Social League (FUSL)
FUSL III
Flinders Ultimate is once again gearing up to run our ever popular Social League, and can you believe we're into FUSLIII?!?
We're under new management this season, with long time League Director, Alec Deslandes stepping down to rapturous applause after his efforts in setting up and running the first two seasons of FUSL. Now Joel and Alison step up to the plate to try their hand at Fresher Wrangling, and we hope to make FUSLIII bigger and better than ever!!

Register your teams or register as an individual in the 'MisFits' category. Be careful though, the MisFits uniform colour is set as rainbow... You'll need to be logged into the AFDA main website to view that page. Contact me if you have any troubles.
FUSL is played on the Flinders Uni Touch Fields. You can see a google map of the site here.
Games will be between 6:30pm and 8:30pm with a short coaching session from 6pm.
The cost is still the same. $20 only!!
The League will run for 10 weeks from the 17th of March to the 19th of May.
DON'T FORGET: There are two Come'n'try sessions for new or newish players to get a few pointers before the league starts. These are on the 3rd and 10th of March. There will be qualified coaches running each session so it will be a great opportunity to brush up your skills or learn some new ones.

FUSL II Wrapup
Going into the Semis, the ladder looked like this:
But in the Semis, bottom ranked ASMS pulled out a huge upset over top ranked Randy Leprachauns to advance to the Grand Final where they met the White Stripes in a spectacular game. The White Stripes pulled out the victory to become only the 2nd team to ever win a FUSL!!

FUSL I Wrapup
The Flinders Ultimate Social League finished in a blaze of fun times and smiling faces on Monday night. Driving wind and sporadic showers didn’t stop the teams from playing some great Ultimate in their respective finals. After the games finished, we had presentations in the warmth of the clubrooms, and celebrated the end of the league with Nudie Juice (thanks Nudie!) and hot pizza.

Thanks to all for making it a really fun league, Frazer, Emma, Ross and Joel for help with admin and Nudie Juice for the juice. FUSL II will start early August (semester 2), with the call for players/registration going out early July.
