Origin of the Name:

We were looking for a team name to go to AUG 2003 with and we wanted to work with FU somehow. Apart from all the less palatable suggestions, Joel had the idea of FURY, stolen from a team he'd heard about in the US. Mike Leung took the name a little further, calling ourselves the Flinders University Raging Yin. That didn't last too long, but FURY stuck. We inscribed the name on the front of our bright orange shirts in Black Texta.

Team Bio:

Fury was first formed in 2003 by the FUUFC AUG team. The team has now become the highest level competition squad of FUUFC, and predominantly remains a mixed team.
